The much-awaited Union and Arts Inauguration of our college was held on 05 Friday, 2025, marking a vibrant gathering of students, teachers, and distinguished guests. Though the event was scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM, an unexpected power failure and the delay in generator setup pushed the inauguration to 10:40 AM. Yet, the excitement and spirit of the day remained untouched.
The ceremony commenced with a formal inauguration, smoothly anchored by Alina and Amina, who kept the audience engaged throughout the session. The program began with a soulful prayer, setting a peaceful and positive tone for the day. This was followed by the welcome address by our Principal, who highlighted the importance of student leadership and unity.
One of the most anticipated highlights of the event was the logo reveal of our College Union – Deeksha 2025. Executed through an innovative and visually appealing presentation led by our General Secretary along with the union members and our classmates, the reveal received an enthusiastic response from the audience.
After the logo presentation, we were blessed with an inspiring speech from our College Manager. This was followed by the Presidential Address by our Chairman, who shared valuable insights on leadership and responsibility.
The stage then welcomed our esteemed guests, Aisha Potti and Adwaith Guinness, who delivered thoughtful and motivating inaugural speeches, enriching the occasion with their presence.
As the Vice Chairperson, I had the honour of presenting the Union Message, expressing our collective vision and aspirations for the academic year. We also heard heartfelt messages from Praveena Ma’am and Sheeja Ma'am, representing the faculty.
After the formal ceremony, the campus soon transformed into a hub of creativity and celebration. The cultural events, undoubtedly the most interesting segment of the day, brought together students from various groups who showcased: group song, fusion performance, mimicking various ads and it culminated with the general dance performance.
By 4:00 PM, the excitement reached its peak with the electrifying performance by the The Clock Tower Band. Their energetic set kept everyone on their feet, dancing, singing along, and enjoying each moment. The musical celebration concluded at 5:30 PM, leaving the campus buzzing with joy.
It was not just an event—it was a celebration of teamwork, creativity, and the unbreakable spirit of our student community. As union members, we were immensely proud and grateful to have successfully organized such a dynamic and memorable day. The enthusiasm of the students and the support of the faculty made it truly special. Our days of hardship had brought out such a spectacular day and in the end we were happy and satisfied, in the belief that we were able to create a beautiful day for our teachers and students.
