The third day of the college union arts fest Kalika was conducted on 25th February 2026, marking yet another vibrant and memorable chapter in this grand cultural celebration. The day commenced with the official inauguration ceremony, graciously inaugurated by the respected Principal of St. Gregorious College, Mr.Jino Nainan. The formal function included inspiring speeches and official addresses by the Arts Secretary and the Principal, setting a motivating and energetic tone for the events that followed.
Following the inauguration, the campus transformed into a lively cultural arena as various stage programs began simultaneously across multiple stages. The day’s schedule featured a diverse range of events, including Mime, Oppana, National Anthem, Folk Song, and several other performances. Each event provided students with an opportunity to showcase their creativity, artistic skills, and cultural richness. The performances reflected not only talent but also dedication, passion, and teamwork, leaving the audience thoroughly entertained.
All four houses competed with immense enthusiasm, energy, and sporting spirit. Students actively participated, cheering for their respective houses and celebrating every performance with excitement. For a moment, the pressures of academics and daily routines were set aside, replaced by joy, laughter, and collective celebration. The vibrant atmosphere uplifted the spirits of everyone present, making the day truly unforgettable.
Although I could not personally witness the events due to health issues, the vivid descriptions and joyful experiences shared by my friends brought the entire day to life for me. Hearing their excitement, laughter, and enthusiastic shout-outs filled my heart with mixed emotions — a sense of longing to be there, yet happiness in knowing that my friends had such a wonderful time. Their stories made me feel connected to the celebration despite my physical absence.
As the day came to a close, anticipation for the final day grew stronger. The excitement was heightened by the close competition, especially as my house stood just one point behind the leading team. This narrow margin intensified our determination and hope to claim the overall championship in the upcoming events. With renewed motivation and high spirits, we eagerly looked forward to the final day, confident and ready to give our best.
