The day 2, Feb 24 2026, began with various stage programmes. Stage 1 conducted light music and different song events, while Stage 2 hosted recitation and elocution programmes, where students showcased their linguistic talents. The third stage was dedicated to painting competitions.
Our house, House Number 4, titled Chilanka, actively participated in many events. Outmr captain Alan and vice captain Christy became our backbone and supported and guided us in each events. Each student contributed according to their strengths, striving to push beyond their limits and soar like a swan, revealing their hidden talents while enjoying every moment.
I was expected to participate in the elocution competition in English. However, due to a sudden physical ailment and high fever, I had to visit the hospital in the middle of the event and remained there for three to four hours for medical check-ups and treatment. When I returned, I saw my friends enjoying every moment, while I was forced to go back home because of my health condition. As a result, I had to witness the remaining days of the programme from home, watching their happiness from a distance.
