As part of the National Mathematics Day celebrations, the MAX Department organized a vibrant and thoughtful Maths Exhibition on 22nd December 2025 (Monday) from 2.00 p.m. to 3.30 p.m. in the Maths Optional Classroom. The exhibition served as a creative platform for students to express mathematical ideas beyond textbooks and formulas, highlighting the relevance of mathematics in everyday life—both implicitly and explicitly.
The students showcased a variety of exhibits such as charts, working models, puzzles, and interactive mathematical games. Each exhibit reflected not only conceptual understanding but also creativity and innovation. Special effort was taken to make mathematics engaging and enjoyable through brainstorming games that encouraged logical thinking and active participation. The atmosphere created was lively and intellectually stimulating, making mathematics appear less abstract and more connected to real-life situations.
Despite the limited time and hectic schedule, the dedication and effort put in by the students were truly praiseworthy and appreciable. Though modest in scale, the exhibition carried a unique significance of its own and conveyed a meaningful story about the beauty and applicability of mathematics. Overall, the event turned out to be a meaningful and informative exhibition, successfully organized by the Maths Department with the support of the Class Tutor, Ms. Sreeleksmi, leaving a lasting impression on all who visited.
I found the exhibition helpful and interesting as a person who finds the subject difficult. The Maths department students was successful in arousing curiosity among other students which is infact the departments join victory.
