Yoga session

On 25th November 2025, a yoga session was conducted from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm as part of the scheduled curriculum. The session began with the instructor leading the students through a series of stretching exercises to help improve flexibility and prepare the body for the upcoming yoga asanas. These warm-up exercises ensured that the students were physically ready and comfortable before proceeding to more structured movements.

Following the initial stretching, the instructor guided the class through the asanas prescribed in the curriculum. To ensure effective learning, the students were divided into smaller groups, allowing the instructor to closely observe and correct individual postures. Students who found it challenging to perform certain asanas—such as Naukasana and Bhujangasana—were placed in a separate group. In this group, peer guidance was emphasized, as students who demonstrated proficiency helped supervise and correct the postures of those who required additional support. Additional stretching exercises were provided to help them relax and improve alignment. The other students were practicing to give command and arrange the students in school.

Although I was not feeling well and could not actively participate in the session, I observed the class attentively. Through careful observation, I analyzed the techniques demonstrated and reflected on how I could improve my own performance in the future. This experience helped me gain a clearer understanding of the importance of posture, flexibility, and peer learning in yoga practice.
