Yoga Practice session

In today’s busy and stressful world, finding peace of mind has become a real challenge. That’s where yoga comes in — an ancient Indian practice that brings balance to our body, mind, and soul. Yoga isn’t just about bending or stretching; it’s about connecting with ourselves and finding inner calm in the middle of chaos.Regular practice of yoga improves flexibility, strengthens the body, and sharpens concentration. More importantly, it helps us manage stress and emotions, leading to a healthier and happier life.

For B.Ed students, yoga has even greater significance. As future teachers, they will be guiding young minds every day. To do that effectively, they need patience, emotional stability, and mental clarity — all of which yoga naturally builds. It helps them stay positive, confident, and calm, even in challenging classroom situations.

Today ( Nov 11) we had our Physical education classes and we practiced yoga in the above hall. The session was conducted by Mr. Lal, our Physical education instructor and he started the class by making us do some warm up. Then he made us practice the asanas and corrected our posture for better mobility and effect. We did padmasana, sidhasana ana, naukasana etc and today I found little difficult to do naukasana, may be due to fatigue. I have to improve my posture in naukasana and I believe I can do it after regular practice.

The class ended early due to heavy rain and we then went to the general hall, where he explained and cleared our doubts. He also told us about the upcoming internal exams and asked us to get prepared soon.
