The Physical Science Department organized an engaging science quiz as part of the Subject Association programme, aiming to strengthen the scientific awareness and confidence of the trainees. This quiz served as a pre-event activity to energize the participants and encourage active involvement with the subject. Through this initiative, the department created a lively platform where student-teachers could revise basic concepts, think critically, and participate in a healthy academic competition that enriched their overall learning experience.
The questions for the quiz were thoughtfully selected from simple school-level science textbooks to help trainees revisit essential concepts with ease. By focusing on fundamental ideas, the quiz enabled participants to check their conceptual clarity, recognize areas that needed revision, and reinforce their basic understanding of science. This approach ensured that the event was both enjoyable and educational, helping future teachers strengthen the foundational knowledge required to teach science confidently and effectively in the classroom. Safna and Shahana were the participants from our option as it was mandatory for two students to participate from each option. The results will be announced on Nov 7, Friday.
